“LNK Industries” JSC puts apartment house on Baznicas Street into commission

Riga City Building Construction Directorate has accepted for operation a multifunctional apartment house “Club Central Residence” on 18a Baznicas Street, which combines the traditions of Riga’s historical buildings and new tendencies of city planning worldwide. “LNK Industries” JSC implemented the construction by the order of “Kappa Capital” LLC. Construction costs have reached almost 2.2 million euro.

The development of technical design of the object began in winter of 2013 in cooperation with “Tectum” LLC under the leadership of Alvijs Zlaugotnis. However, “LNK Industries” JSC began the construction of the object in August 2014. “2 100 m² of glass was used for the construction of the façade, and for the building in general – 140 tons of reinforcement. Only qualitative and environmentally friendly materials were used for the construction of this object. This is a very modern and well-thought-out house”, Member of the “LNK Industries” JSC Board Evgeny Lotsov describes the project’s works.

The co-author of the façade’s architecture and the author of the interior of 2,218 m² big “Club Central Residence”, located in Riga, 18a Baznicas Street, is Zane Tetere – internationally recognised Latvian architect. “Building’s façade is matching aesthetics of the dynamics of the rest of Baznicas Street — it is harmonically echoing St. Gertrude Church, located nearby, Art Nouveau buildings and new eclectic buildings. The main highlight of the building is a bay-window, which is designed as reflecting, dark, monochrome element with an emphasis on texture and pattern,” says Zane Tetere.

Normunds Lojans, “Club Central Residence” project manager told us about the object: “This project is special because it’s located in the historical centre of Riga city. This means that the coordination of project’s documentation with relevant state and municipal institutions is extremely complicated. It is worth noting that during the construction of the object, construction industry’s regulatory legislation has changed; however, we still managed to construction everything qualitatively and on time. Construction of a multi-storey building in the very centre of the city is also an additional challenge to the builders. We are very glad that both real estate experts and customers appreciated our execution of this project.”

Recently, during the Baltic Development Forum conference, “Club Central Residence” has won a prestige International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) award “Baltic Prix d’Excellence” as the best new project in premium segment, as well as a special award of high-class real estate seller “Baltic Sotheby’s International Realty” as the best premium residential house project of the year in Latvia.
