During the ceremonial part of the event, Member of the Board of LNK Group holding company David Lipkin, has addressed and congratulated all those present: “I am delighted that now there is one more playground for children in Riga to play at. In addition, I am honored that the improvement of this playground was entrusted to one of the companies of our holding, which has begun large-scale construction works here in May of this year. Areas for skateboarding, basketball, football, volleyball and tennis were improved and equipped. There is a special area for street gymnastics. Construction of an ice hockey field is nearing completion. Now children and adolescents shall be able to fully indulge themselves in sporting activities at the improved school surroundings not only during school sports classes, but also in their free time. I sincerely hope that we have helped to fulfill the children’s and local area residents’ dream of an excellent recreation place. We are presenting you this bright Christmas tree ornament so that it would be even more joyful to await and celebrate Christmas in this darkest time of the year.”

Brightly decorated Christmas tree will bring joy to everyone who during the celebration will visit the new sports and active recreation area in Riga, Purvciems. This place is rightly called the first and the biggest activity area of this type in the Baltics because it features a large-scale outdoor exercise units’ and fitness complex. Currently LNK INDUSTRIES Partnership GP is working on the construction of the ice hockey field, which will be used for roller skating during the summer.

Construction works of sports complex and various types of active recreation areas are carried out by LNK INDUSTRIES Partnership GP by the order of the Riga City Council Property Department. Currently 2.8 million euros are invested in this project. In turn, in order to create a special festive mood at the improved territory of the Riga Secondary School No.84, LNK Industries JSC, which is a part of the LNK Group holding company, has gifted  twinkle lights to decorate a Christmas tree, which will bring holiday joy to both local residents and all lovers of sports activities.
